20 Feb 2011 - Baking + Cooking Sunday :)

A fruitful afternoon. Have spent my beautiful Sunday afternoon with baking + cooking.

Let's see what I've done today :p

1. Cinnamon Raisin Bread

Ingredients: water, oil, sugar, salt, dry milk, oatmeal, bread flour, yeast, cinnamon, raisins, walnuts.

All add togeter (except cinnamon, raisins, walnuts)

Put into Nozza Oven - function 8

Add in cinnamon, raisins &walnuts after 30 minutes (when basic dough is formed)

See the bread ^^ Almost done

Done!

2. Pork Rib (Char Siu sauce)

2. Grilled Stingray (spicy sauce)

"Ferrari Day" ^^ 11th of CNY

13 Feb 2011 - Beautiful Sunday.

Today is 11th day of CNY, still in new year mood, so wearing 'red-red' again to attend Church Sunday worship. This round we have our Ferrari T-shirt as our 2011 new year 'uniform', which 'imported" by my 2nd sister in law from SuZhou, China to me. ^^ Thank you Yi Sou!

Enjoying the photo session after church worship. Thanks Carol for always being my camera girl, especially during these new year days, which help me to take so many beautiful family photos ^^

And, we also having a meaningful photo session with Carol's family, especially  Uncle Lim & Aunty Ow Yang, who was Ah boy's first nanny during baby time ^^ Really Sweet :p

10 Feb 2011 - Today is 8th day of CNY.

Have prepare something special for tonite dinner ~ Garlic Prawn using my water oven again ^^

Only spent me 10 minutes for preparation and another 15 minutes for water oven to steam it . As simple as that.. Very satisfied with the result.. Yummy  ^^

09 Feb 2011 - 7th day of Chinese New Year (年初七)
Today is everybody’s Birthday ^^ Know why? Because in Chinese tradition we called today 人日，which means "people day" and everyone was considered one year older as of this date.

Since it's a big  day for all, we (my lunch mates and I) have decided to go somewhere special to 'celebrate'. Our initial plan was "好日子" at Bayu Mutiara but too bad it was closed for CNY holidays. Thus we have changed our plan to the shop next door - One Hour Cafe ^^

New Year Lunch

Time flies. Today is a last day of CNY holidays and will resume work tomorow.

Take a rest at home and being housewife + 'chef'' for today lunch ^^

Done some 'experiment' on my newly bought Healsio water oven to prepare some simple new year dishes for ah boy, daddy and myself.
