Bun baking day

10 Jan 2011 - Another baking day.

This time I've decided to bake 3 type of buns - Mock Bees Sting bread, mini sausage bun and butter cheese bun.

Ingredients:

Egg x 2 + water       300 ml
Butter                     2 Tablespoon
Salt                         1/2 Teaspoon
Sugar                      6 Tablespoon
Milk Powder            2 Tablespoon
High Protein Flour    500 g
Yeast                      3 Teaspoon

For Filing:
Mini Sausages
Raisin
Cheddar Cheese
Butter (diced)

Quite simple task for me to make a dough because I've agood assistant with me - Noxxa Oven.
With just pressing a button, it help me to make a dough within 30 minutes.

Once the dough is ready, I leave prepared dough in a bowl, covered with a damp cloth, and let it rise till double in size.

Then, I scaled dough into small portion that I need, and follow by wrapping in some fillling likes sausages (for making mini sausages bun),  butter and Cheddar Cheese on top of dough (for making butter cheese bun), and  pressing in raisins on the surface of bun ( for making of Mock Bees Sting bread).

Then, the next step would be brushing the surface with beaten egg wash.

and, it follow by baking at preheated oven at 190c for 12 - 15 minutes

And now, it's done!

Happy Bread Making ^^

10 Jan 2011 - Share with you, the first bangkali bread loaf that I baked.

It's just that simple to get it done using my Noxxa Oven.

Ingredients:
Water                      270 ml
Salt                          1 Teaspoon
Sugar                       6 Tablespoon
Butter                      30 g
High protein flour     450g
Milk powder            3 Tablespoon
Yeast                       2 Teaspoon

I believe you will be having same thought as mine if you also own a same model oven at home.

Just add in all ingredients and on the oven. The oven will handle the rest by making a dough, rise the dough and bake it by it's own and you will get a fresly and tasty bread after 3 hours.

Happy New Year 2011

05 Jan 2011 - My first posting in Year 2011. Wishing all my friends HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011 ^^

I'm starting Year 2011 with doing something new - Baking ^^

I called myselve "roti queen", because I can eat roti / bread / bun in 365 days non-stop as my breakfast .. Heheh. So, in Dec 2010, I've bought a bread maker (oven) with planning to bake some 'homemake' bun / bread for myself, my family and my friends..^^

Sounds great with my plan for Year 2011, and hopefully it will go smooth and I'm able to homemake a tasty and yummy bread/ bun to all ^^
