8 Aug 2009 is a happy day for most of SSC members.. Why? Because today we will tour to "Rice-bowl of Malaysia" - Kedah Darul Aman.

- Padi Museum (Alor Setar)
The building is in “gemai padi” shape which is alike a bundle of paddy stalks.

Main entrance - Main building houses the mural with another six secondary buildings surrounding it. Its total built-up area is 12,000 square meters.

Yeah! Now we reach the 360 degree circular mural or wall art painting at Level 3
This amazing 103 meters length X 8 meters height wall were painted by 60 artists from North Korea at the cost of RM 11 million.
It's a good weather outside. Not believe? See the rainbow behind us :p
See the chairs? This is actually a 40-seat revolving plateform at Level 3.. But too bad, the revolving is not function on that day.. :( Otherwise we can enjoy the massive 103m mural without moving an inch.
